LinuxWorld New York 2002

APPX Software went back on the road in late January 2002, traveling to New York City for LinuxWorld 2002 , at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. As an exhibitor at the LinuxWorld Expo, APPX had an opportunity to meet several thousand potential customers, and spend time demonstrating our products for interested attendees.

The response was excellent, both to the strengths and value of APPX, and to the offer of free single-user licenses, as part of our APPX For Linux Promotion. Almost 1,000 visitors picked up APPX for Linux CD's on the first day alone! While name recognition for APPX is a primary goal of this promotion, it is also designed to increase the base of APPX users and programmers worldwide, and support our claim as “The Premier Development and Runtime Environment for Business Application Software” in the Linux universe.
