LinuxWorld 2005
APPX Brings "Business in Black and White" to LinuxWorld Expo
Asking the question, "Why aren't you using Linux for your BUSINESS applications?", APPX Software introduced Linux enthusiasts on both coasts to the concept of "Business in Black and White", at last year's LinuxWorld Conferences in New York City and San Francisco. Now, in 2005, the message has come to Boston and returns to San Francisco.
Join APPX Software at LinuxWorld 2005 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California, August 9-11, and discover the new APPX Financials 5.0 and the dynamic new capabilities of APPX 4.2.7.
The trade show promotion once again will feature "Tux", the penguin that serves as the mascot of Linux, in an accountant's visor and surrounded by coins, to emphasize that APPX Software brings business applications to the Linux platform. Attendees who visit APPX at LinuxWorld and take a brief on-screen "APPX Tour" are given stylish APPX "Business in Black and White" T-shirts, and encouraged to wear them to the conference the following day. Anyone wearing an APPX T-shirt on the second or third day of the event is then invited to enter a drawing for a portable DVD player, one given away each day.
This is now nine consecutive LinuxWorld Conference and Expo events at which APPX Software has been an exhibitor, beginning in San Francisco in August 2001. At each event, more and more people become familiar with APPX, and the company and its products become a well-recognized part of the Linux community.
